A photo from a collection of shots taken for my Masters in Fashion and Film. I chose to explore the way in which the conventions of 1940s film noir and the figure of the femme fatale are now a part of contemporary visual culture. I styled this shoot as a modern take of representing this type of seductive woman.

TURNTABLE RIDER
Japanese company COGOO have reformatted a DJ’s essential toolkit into different components of a BMX, so the wheels become jog wheels, the brake pad a sound pad, and an installed gyroscopic motion sensor doubles as the fader pad. The music is fed wirelessly into the setup via an iPhone or iPod.
